If Hamilton’s having a party, chances are the Mercantis are involved. These genial hosts have welcomed presidents and prime ministers, while giving back to their hometown. Their many entrepreneurial contributions include CARSTAR Automotive, one of Canada’s most successful franchises. They grew Carmen’s into a destination that’s welcomed the world, while helping thousands of Hamiltonians celebrate family milestones. Peter is the 2010 Citizen of the Year, Sam a Chamber Ironman Winner and Morris a long-time Juravinski Board member. They support dozens of organizations representing the best traits of our community: entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and engaged.
