Teen Tech Tutors

Volunteers with this program help older adults with computers/tablets in a classroom setting. The program runs over a series of dates at different branches.

Tutor Qualifications

14-18 years of age
Tech savvy and comfortable with computers
Good communication skills
Be reliable, patient and trustworthy
Able to commit to the dates and times listed below
Experienced or interested in working with older adults/seniors

Responsibilities

Attend training sessions
Provide assistance to adults learning new computer skills
Provide positive feedback and encouragement
All volunteers ages eighteen (18) and over must provide a recent Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check

Time Commitment

Approximately 1.5 hours once or twice per month
