Due to a fence replacement, the parking lot will be unavailable from September 7-9. Nearby street parking is available, as is an HSR route. Thank you for your patience.
Due to a glass door installation for the new Makerspace area, Concession Branch will close at 1 pm on Thursday, September 3. It is expected to reopen to its regular hours with limited services on Friday, September 4. Stay tuned for continual updates.

All HPL Branches are closed on Sunday, September 6 and Labour Day, Monday, September 7. Bookmobile is off the road. Extended Access is not available. Regular service hours resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Eliminating racial and social equity barriers in library programs, services, policies and practices.
Creating and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion and respect both in our library systems and in all aspects of our community role.
Ensuring that we are reaching and engaging disenfranchised people in the community and helping them express their voice.
Serving as a convener and facilitator of conversations and partnerships to address community challenges.
Being forthright on tough issues that are important to our communities.
