Room Bookings for Library Partners and City of Hamilton Departments

Room bookings are not available to the general public. They are reserved exclusively for:

• Library partners involved in HPL-approved initiatives
• City of Hamilton Departments conducting official business

Eligibility and Fees

• Library Partners and City Councillors: Eligible for free room bookings. Councillors may book up to two (2) free meetings per month for public meetings or groups they actively attend.
• Local Partners: Allocated a limited number of free bookings per year.
• City of Hamilton Departments: May also book rooms, subject to standard room booking fees.

Booking Details

• Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
• All bookings must fall within the 90-day windows listed below. Longer-term bookings are not available to ensure priority for library programming and events.
• Restore Room: All groups must return rooms to their original set-up and leave them clean. Failure to comply may result in loss of booking privileges. Special set-ups are generally limited to paid rentals and must be approved in advance.
