Central Library - Daily Hours Update

Central Library – Digital Microfilm Machines
The digital microfilm machines at Central Library are not working. A single analog machine is available in the Local History and Archives Reading Room. This reader does not support printing. We apologize for the inconvenience and aim to have the digital devices repaired as soon as possible.

Printing Updates
Daily print balances for black and white and colour printing change January 2, 2026. The new daily print balance is 40 cents. Members receive four free black and white copies or two free colour copies.

2025 Summer Reading and STEAM Buddies
Avoid the 2025 summer slide.
Extra reading help is great for kids, especially during the summer school break. Children in grades one through six are invited to meet with a volunteer Summer Reading and STEAM Buddy to practice reading through fun activities such as educational board games.
The program runs July 7-August 18 (except Civic Holiday Monday, August 4). Sessions are one hour. If you have to miss a session, please let your Summer Reading and STEAM Buddy know ahead of time.
Registration opens Monday, June 23, in person at any branch or online.
