The parking lot elevator at Terryberry Branch is not working. Members will need to use the accessible ramp at the Mohawk entrance and the inner elevator. We're working to get it fixed quickly.

The accessibility ramp at Mount Hope Branch is damaged. The handrail is not available. The ramp will not be available while being repaired. We aim to fix it quickly.
Radon Kits
Radon is an odourless and colourless gas that is the product of the natural breakdown of uranium in the ground.
According to a Health Canada survey, an estimated 5% of homes in Hamilton will have higher levels than the recommended guidelines. These detectors will allow customers to perform tests on their homes.
We have a limited supply of radon detector test kits. They are currently in circulation. The device can only be renewed three (3) times.
Radon detector test kits must be checked in and out manually and returned at the Information Desk to any of our branches. To avoid damage, they can not be returned in the drop box or sorter.
