Central Library: Children's Area Renovation on 2nd Floor
Renovations are currently underway for the 2nd Floor Central Children's Area. Programs are still being offered as scheduled and there is a temporary pop-up Children’s Area on the northeast side of the 2nd Floor (near the Piano Room), including access to collections and train tables. The Binbrook Branch was established in 1966. The current, open concept design building opened to the public in 1982 and was partially funded through a grant from the proceeds of Wintario. The branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults.
The Binbrook Branch also has a Seed Library provided in partnership with Green Venture. Visit the Binbrook Branch to select seeds, find information about gardening and HPL programs, and harvest seeds to replenish the Seed Library.
