The Hamilton Public Library Board is made up of nine citizens and two City Councillors.  The Library Board establishes library services for our community based on public input, market research and by monitoring satisfaction with services. 

Hamilton Public Library welcomes the 2014/15 Writer-in-Residence, Hal Niedzviecki.

Hamilton Public Library partnered with McMaster University and was successful in securing funding from the Canada Council for the Arts for an eight month term for a Writer-in-Residence.
